The Prince of Wales visited Llanelli, Wales, where he met with Swiss Valley Community Primary School schoolchildren. William met with students who participated in the 2024 Urdd Eisteddfod, a festival celebrating Welsh language and culture. Need a docuseries to watch come December? Be on the lookout for Prince Harry’s new series focused on the thrilling sport of Polo. Netflix says, “POLO is a new documentary series that follows elite global players and offers an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the fast-paced world of the sport.” As an equestrian, I know I’m tuning in!
The series will air in December (no specific date has yet been given), and is produced by Archewell Productions and Boardwalk Pictures.
Wednesday
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh visited Hillsborough Castle in Northern Ireland for a garden party of almost 1,000 guests! You can read all about the event and the history of royal garden parties below.

It was also revealed that the King and Queen would undergoe an Autumn tour from October 18th to October 26th of Australia, Somoa and attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2024. This visit will be the King’s first tour of Australia as monarch. You can read more about their tour here.
On Wednesday it was revealed that the lawsuit over Prince Harry’s Visa brought on by The Heritage Foundation, has been closed. The Heritage Foundation, the same foundation behind Project 2025, argued that Prince Harry’s admittance to drug use in his memoir, Spare, should prevent him from living and working in the United States. The case is now closed, and the judges’ ruling is not available to the public.
Thursday
On Thursday, Prince William visited the Royal Air Force Base, representing his father at the RAF College Sovereign’s Parade. William received a royal salute, observed a flyover and spoke to cadets, saying, “we live in a time of change and uncertainty, and you, as the future of the Royal Air Force, are the ones who will ensure that we are able to adapt and face future threats."
It has also been reported that Prince George has started flying lessons at Berkshire airfield, taking after his father! The Prince and Princess of Wales were reported to have looked on from the grounds, as George took to the sky with his instructor.
In other news, a recently revealed sculpture of the Queen and Prince Philip along with two corgis, sparks debate in Northern Ireland. Some say the sculpture is not accurate, with some even calling it “insulting”. But as the media can sometimes amplify negative comments, officials respond that the statue has been well-recieved by those who have seen it in-person.
Friday
Prince Harry will be turning 40 this Sunday, September 15th. He says, "I was anxious about 30, I’m excited about 40," (source — bbc.com). He will celebrate his birthday with his family in California, then head off for a trip with friends.
